Getting there: A moving walkway connects all terminals to Manchester Airport train station. Up to six trains an hour depart from the airport to Manchester Piccadilly station in the city centre. The journey takes 20 minutes and a single ticket is £2.65. From here trains run to Preston, seven miles from the hotel. Alternatively taxis are available. All prices subject to change.
Driving directions: From the airport, continue forward onto Malaga Avenue. At the roundabout take the first exit onto Terminal Road North (signposted Exit, Terminal 2). Bear left onto Outwood Lane (signposted Exit). Bear left and join the M56 SPUR motorway (signposted M56 Motorway). Continue forward in the right-hand lane, and join the M56 motorway (signposted Manchester). Keep in the right-hand lanes at junction 3 (signposted City Centre, Ring Road West and North). At Junction 3A continue forward onto the M56. Continue forward onto Princess Parkway (A5103). Branch left, and join the M60 motorway (signposted Ring Road West and North, Liverpool, Bolton, Leeds). Branch left onto the M61 (signposted Preston, Wigan, Bolton), then join the M61 motorway. Join the M6 (signposted M61 Preston, Lancaster, Blackpool). Leave the M6 at Exit 32 onto the M55. Immediately take Exit 1. At the roundabout take the A6. The hotel is half a mile up on the right hand side.
