The railway station in Paisley is two miles from the airport, a few minutes away by taxi or ten minutes by bus. There are eight trains an hour from Monday to Saturday, and five trains an hour on Sundays from Paisley to Glasgow Central rail station. Taxis are available 24 hours a day from in front of the main terminal building, and cost approximately £15 to the hotel. Shuttle buses also run to central Glasgow, and take about 20 minutes.
Driving directions: From the M8 Westbound, take junction 18 for Charing Cross and Kelvingrove. Once on the slip road, keep in the left-hand lane and continue to a set of traffic lights. The road veers left and is Sauchiehall Street. Take the first street on the right for Elmbank Street. From the M77/M8 Eastbound take junction 18 off M8 motorway for the City Centre. At the end of the sliproad, take the first road on the left at the traffic lights. At the second set of traffic lights go left. At the third set of traffic lights turn right onto Elmbank Street. The hotel is on your right.
Bus services are frequent and reliable; tickets can be bought on board. After midnight there are night bus services around the city leaving from George Square. Taxis are also readily available.
