Getting there: Shuttle buses 905 and 950 run to central Glasgow and take about 20 minutes. A return ticket is £5. Taxis are available 24 hours a day from in front of the main terminal building and charge around £15 to the hotel. The nearest train station to the airport is Paisley Gilmour Street, two miles away. Taxis and a frequent local bus service connect the station with Glasgow Airport. From Gilmour Street there are direct trains to Glasgow Central station, Ayr and the Clyde Coast. Getting around: Glasgow city centre can be easily explored on foot. Bus services are reliable and frequent; tickets can be purchased on board. Night bus services run after midnight, departing from George Square. Glasgows Subway underground system has 15 stations across town. Tickets cost £1 for single journey.
