Getting there: The train station that serves Glasgow Airport is Paisley Gilmour Street, two miles from the airport. The station can be reached by taxi or the frequent local bus service departing from the terminal forecourt. From here there are direct trains to Ayr, the Clyde Coast and Glasgow Central train station. Taxis are available 24 hours a day from in front of the main terminal building and charge around £14 to the hotel. Shuttle buses 905 and 950 also run to central Glasgow and take about 20 minutes. A return ticket is £5. All prices subject to change.
Driving directions: From the airport take the M8 motorway in the direction of Glasgow city centre. Then take the Clyde Tunnel Junction. Go through the tunnel and continue on the road until the junction at Anniesland Cross. Turn right at this junction and follow signs for the city centre for approximately one mile. The hotel is located on the right in front of the Gartnaval Hospital.
Getting around: The centre of the city can be easily explored on foot. Bus services are reliable and frequent; tickets can be purchased on board. After midnight buses leaving from George Square to destinations around the city. Glasgow also has its own underground system with 15 stations across town. Tickets cost just £1 for single journey. Taxis are also readily available.
