Getting there: The hotel operates a courtesy transfer to the airport, available on request and subject to availability. Shuttle buses 905 and 950 run to central Glasgow and take about 20 minutes. A return ticket is £5. The nearest train station to the airport is Paisley Gilmour Street, two miles away. Taxis and a frequent local bus service connect the station with Glasgow Airport. From Gilmour Street, direct trains run to Glasgow Central station. To get to the hotel, a low-level train should be caught from Glasgow Central to Dalmuir Station, 500 metres from the hotel. Alternatively, First Glasgow Buses numbers 66, 204, 205, 215 and 216 all run to the vicinity of the hotel. Taxis are available 24 hours a day from in front of the main terminal building and charge around £15 to the hotel. All prices are subject to change.
Driving directions: From the airport, head westbound on the M8. Exit at Junction 30, taking the M898 for Erskine Bridge. Cross the bridge and join the A82 Eastbound towards Glasgow. Exit onto the A814, following signs for Clydebank and Old Kilpatrick. Follow the A814 towards Clydebank until you see the brown tourist signs for the Beardmore Hotel.
Getting around: Dalmuir Station, 500 metres from the hotel, connects to Glasgow Central and Queen Street stations. Glasgow city centre can be easily explored on foot. Bus services are reliable and frequent; tickets can be purchased on board. Night bus services run after midnight, departing from George Square. Glasgow’s Subway underground system has 15 stations across town. Tickets cost £1 for single journey. Taxis are also readily available. All prices subject to change.
